I'm Fancy and I founded It’s My Mommy's Business Association. The concept was born in 2009, while I was law student and divorced single mom. What started as a home-based business evolved into a nonprofit association dedicated to supporting and helping to guide women into entrepreneurship.
With over 20 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit organizational management and event planning expertise, I started the Toledo Night Market with a small group. I understand that sometimes there are questions on how to get started, so building a community of women who are also dedicated to teaching and learning is important. Together, we can be successful in building and growing our brands!
Sometimes we just need opportunity to accelerate the vision. Here are a few steps you can take to move forward:
· Define success by what is important in your life
· Identify small goals, reach and repeat
· Do something daily to build your brand, no matter how small (i.e. hand out a business card)
Set short term reachable goals. Do this every day and before you know it, you’ll look back and see a trail of small successes. It will help you stay motivated to know that you are investing in yourself every day.
